OUR APPROACH
Four elements characterize our approach and differentiate us radically from other consulting firms:
Complexity, Archetypes, Narratives and Enantiodromia.
Organizational Complexity
Businesses and organizations are complex, unified, and alive systems, exceeding the sum of their parts, with the capability to change inherent in them. For each complex problem there is not just one and only solution, elaborated by experts; the expression and interaction of different views within a group can unfold its creative potential, so finally the solution emerges from within the problem itself. Furthermore, small initiatives can bring about important results and affect them in a non expected (non linear), while the attempts for extended and overall changes rarely get ahead, due to the reaction they create.Patterns and Archetypes
People confronting alternatives do not always choose rationally; they are rather influenced by their deeper values and unconscious viewpoints, which act as reality interpretation filters, repeat themselves and create patterns. These patterns reflect archetypal elements inherent to us all that operate as governing principles of human perception and behavior; due to their dynamic and contradictory character, they seem like the chaotic strange attractors and allow us to recognize a uniting generality behind a maybe dividing specific detail.Narrative Knowledge
Narrative is the most common and easy way to approach the archetypal patterns of individuals and groups; their language does not answer to questions, but makes connections and reveals the possibility through experience. Using them as means to imprint collective patterns, we can make sense and share unsaid facets of organizational knowledge and culture and approach sides of social behavior that usually stay out of reach.Differences and Enantiodromia
As equilibrium produces simply new data rather than information, the interest moves to at-the-edge situations, where problems and differences can be the source for new, more effective structures and procedures, as they have something to tell us and release potential. Furthermore, comprehending the deeper essence of opposites and the importance of their synthesis, and understanding enantiodromia (running counter to) as a restoring balance change, we gain useful insights and tools to recognize the interacting relations.
